In 1992, we designed and supplied the world’s first truck mounted combined water jetting and vacuum recovery runway rubber removal unit to a contractor working at Kai Tak International Airport in Hong Kong.
From 1992 to 1998, we provided five machines for Hong Kong. In 2005, the authority purchased an alternative design from a Korean competitor, but after nine years, once again approached Jetting Systems and selected us their preferred supplier. Since then, we have supplied a further two machines, with two more delivered in 2019.
